Making Oregon THE Best Place for Safe, Efficient Roads and Transportation

The community is full of energy, wonderful families, and opportunity— we deserve roads and transportation systems that match that spirit! Right here in the 37th District, we navigate an impressive (and sometimes overwhelming) mix of transportation agencies overseeing our streets, highways, and intersections. A quick drive from spots like Lark Coffee to Bridgeport Village can cross five or even six different jurisdictions in just seven miles. And thanks to the ongoing conversations around road funding in Salem—including with those (thankfully) stalled toll loving people—we know firsthand how critical smart, accountable transportation leadership is to keeping our communities moving safely and smoothly.

With real leadership representing us in Salem, picture the brighter future we can build together:

Every road, bike path, and sidewalk fully funded and focused on safety—where tax dollars actually hit the pavement we drive on, the routes our kids bike to school, and the paths we walk our dogs.

Intersections upgraded with high-visibility crosswalks, flashing lights, and ADA-compliant access, making every neighborhood safer for pedestrians and drivers alike.

Real, hands-on leadership in Salem that cuts through bureaucracy, coordinates across agencies, and delivers results without unnecessary burdens like tolls.

I've seen this potential in action. Serving on the Clackamas County Roads Advisory Board, I witnessed how getting involved and having a seat at the table makes all the difference. One example stands out: a concerning intersection near my neighborhood at Pilkington and Dawn, where faded crosswalks and orange flags weren't enough—kids heading to River Grove Elementary were at real risk from low visibility and distracted drivers. Emails went unanswered, and the situation felt unacceptable. By stepping up, advocating, and bringing community voices to the board, we secured approval for a high-visibility crosswalk with flashing lights and proper ADA sidewalk transitions. This upgrade isn't just an improvement—it's a lifesaver for countless students every single day. That's the power of active involvement over complacency!

With your help, we can bring that same energy and results to every corner of our district. Let's demand focused transportation funding that prioritizes safe roads, smart intersections, and efficient coordination—no more losing sight of what matters most. Elect a representative who's lived it, fought for it, and delivered real wins for our communities.

Your voice, your stories, and your vote will drive this forward. Join the movement: Share your road concerns, support local safety initiatives, and let's put strong, optimistic leadership in Salem that never loses focus on safe, reliable transportation for all of us.

Oregon's roads—and our neighborhoods —are ready for their best chapter yet. Let's build it together, one safe intersection at a time!
